This release note provides information on the ATI FireGL Unified Driver version 8.323.

The ATI FireGL Unified Driver version 8.323 is designed to support the following ATI FireGL product family: ATI FireGL V7350, ATI FireGL V3400, ATI FireGL V7300, ATI FireGL V3300, ATI FireGL V7200, ATI FireGL V3250, ATI FireGL V7100, ATI FireGL V3200, ATI FireGL V5200, ATI FireGL V3100, ATI FireGL V5100, ATI FireGL T2, ATI FireGL V5000, ATI FireGL X3-256

The following is a summary of the issues that have been resolved in this release of the ATI FireGL Unified Driver.

  • Connecting a secondary display device and enabling extended desktop mode with a display resolution of 1280x1024 for both displays no longer results in text corruption being noticed on the secondary display device when using Adobe Acrobat Professional to view a PDF file.
  • Captured Image Output is now displayed correctly.
  • Performance on some OpenGL Demos are now running at expected performance levels.
  • Femap: Loading the SolidDynamics_d.FEMAP.doc, followed by right clicking on the toobar and using the next and pervious icons to move the model thru the 10 outputs; no longer results in triangles having incorrect vertices.
  • A new application profile for MegaCAD is now available with the ATI FireGL Unified Driver release 8.323.
  • A new application profile for DYNAanimation is now available with the ATI FireGL Unified Driver release 8.323.
  • A new application profile for VEO:factory is now available with the ATI FireGL Unified Driver release 8.323.
