The Catalyst Mobility 7.11 software suite for Windows XP contains the following:

  • Radeon display driver 8.432

    This section provides information on issues that have been resolved in the latest release of the Catalyst Mobility software suite. These include the following:

  • Need for Speed->Carbon: Exiting the game on a system running Windows XP no longer results in the operating system failing to respond.
  • Connecting a CRT to a system containing an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 no longer results in the hotkey function Fn+F4 failing.
  • Overlay is now working as expected in stretch mode across multiple displays.
  • Flickering corruption is no longer noticed in the upper right corner of the display when the tranquility screen saver is activated and the display resolution is set to 800x600@100Hz.
  • A panning mode effect is no longer noticed when undocking the system and resuming from a sleep mode state.
  • Resuming from an S4 state on a system running Windows XP and containing an ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 series of product no longer results in corruption being noticed.
  • Display shaking is no longer noticed when resuming from an S4 state.
