This driver is written specifically for the desktop Intel 946GZ, G31, G33, G35, G41, G43, G45, G965, Q43, Q45, Q33, Q35, Q963, and Q965 Express Chipsets and the Mobile Intel GL960, GM45, and GM965 Express Chipsets, and will not function with any other product. This driver package contains version 15.12.1.64.1608 64-bit drivers and have been tested with Microsoft Windows Vista.

Features Added in Baseline 15.12:

  • Support for OpenGL 2.0 plus extensions (Intel G31, G33, Q33, & Q35 Express Chipsets not supported).

    Issues Resolved in Build 1608:

  • As the Secondary Device, unable to set Television to Full Screen.
  • Fable game: Red tint on and around the character.
  • While Monitor and Notebook display are rotated 180 degrees, using the hotkeys to switch between the different displays sometimes do not work.
  • On the driver’s Video Settings window, enabling Application Settings Override and changing the Color Controls settings does not change picture’s color.
  • Blu-ray disc video playback is black when desktop is set to 16-bit colors.
  • Movie playback’s static image is double-displayed.
  • Notebook display’s flashes or flickers after unplugging the power cord and system is running on battery.
  • Spore game: Text should not be shown outside of the textbox.
  • Color Controls settings are changed a little after resuming the computer from Suspend state.
  • Green video with MPEG2 IDCT mode (DXVA1 only).
  • CPU usage is high.
  • Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos* and The Frozen Throne* games: Picture unstable during gameplay.
  • Video frames may shake horizontally when playing some MPEG-2 videos.
  • Green picture displayed when application enables Fast Compositing for Standard Definition video.
  • Background color is incorrectly interpreted when application enables Fast Compositing.
  • Some areas are not correctly shaded while running 3DMark*01 application.
  • DVD playback is not smooth via Windows Media Center.
  • Frame drop when Noise Reduction is enabled.
  • After unplugging an analog monitor and resuming from Standby or Hibernate state (S3 or S4), the login screen is abnormal.
  • Display corruption (horizontal lines or bands of colors) may be seen across the entire Windows* desktop after selecting 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 resolution.
  • Intel Dual Display Clone mode is not shown as selected when Windows Vista is set to Dual View mode.
  • Error: "Unable to output the video to an external device..." may be seen when playback window is moved from the Primary Device Display to the Secondary Device display.
  • Cannot open the driver’s Graphics Properties window after unplugging HDMI cable while in Extended Desktop mode.
  • Movie playback area shakes.
  • Driver’s installation and uninstallation screens have incorrect Japanese translation.
  • Incorrect French translation in the Scheme Options of the driver’s Graphics Properties window.
  • Driver’s Graphics Properties window has incorrect French translations.
  • Driver’s installation and uninstallation screens have incorrect German translation.
  • VLD issue.
  • Change French translation of Restore Defaults.
  • Incorrect French translation in help tip of the Scheme drop-down menu.
  • Missing sentence and incorrect spelling in help tip of the Scheme setting.
  • Unnecessary quotes in French translation.
  • Logon screen is small after resuming from Standby state (S3).
